I'm working on getting my part of our room decorated, it's nice to be able to "borrow" things from the store for that. We are allowed to bring things home for decorative purposes and we don't have to pay for them as long as we return them when we leave. I'm also really enjoying the photographs that a friend sent of the North Shore, it's wonderful to have a bit of home here! The pictures are very good ones and came in beautiful frames!
A view from my bed
I really like all the girls in this house, they have all been very welcoming and friendly. My roommate's name is Irene, and we get along quite well. She is nice, and outgoing which makes it easy to talk with her. :) I don't have a picture of any of my friends here yet but I hope to before too long. Here are a few more pics taken from my bed.

There are 11 girls staying in this house, and all but one work in the thrift stores. Kate is the dorm supervisor, and keeps the house clean, does the shopping, and prepares at least 3 or 4 meals a week, we fix for ourselves the rest of the time, she also has various meetings to attend and has to prepare a devotional for weekly household meetings. She has been very welcoming and is ready to talk at any time of the day, if we need someone to share with, or advise, or just a listening ear. Here are the links to the ministries web sites for those of you who haven't seen them yet. http://www.newhorizonsthriftstores.com/ http://www.newhorizonsministries.net/
I hope this is informative for you, I really am glad to be a part of this ministry, and I know that God has me here for a reason. He is taking care of me, and His love is never-ending! We have been studying Psalm 91 in devotions at the store, and it's wonderful to learn more about the promises for protection that God has given us! He is so god to me and I don't deserve it! Only by the blood of the Lamb can I come before a Holy God! We have also been studying about holiness for the last several weeks. The book, Holiness - the Heart God Purifies (Nancy Leigh DeMoss), is very good. I have been blessed and challenged as I read, and I haven't even finished it yet!
Well I think that's all I have time for right now, I hope this is enough to satisfy everyone until next week, because I probably won't have time until then. :) Please ask questions, it will make it easier to find things to write about. It's hard to realize while you're living it what people want to know about your life. May the Lord bless you this week!
